Harvesting and data mining open source intelligence information
on Internet connected media is highly compute intense. Many great ideas
never get off the ground simply due to the lack of affordable computer
power. New technologies in areas of grid computing and affordable highly
parallel architectures solve heavy lift, multidimensional data mining
analyses problems.
We work with our clients to provide turn-key, highly affordable,
advanced super-computing environments, and software support, specifically
designed to process open source information harvested from the Internet.

The practical side of this research initiative is helping
our clients to identify imagery and graphics on the Internet that is important
to what they do - - - whether it is their brand icon, a political candidate,
an image important to a cause, a flag, or a celebrity.

Wired magazine, the person on the right was hired by Microsoft to fill
in for the real Bill Gates and completely fooled a news crew at a Bill
Gates CEO Conference in Seattle.
New applications under development will enable our clients to identify
people, icons, or their brands within image content on the Internet.
The capability to match image similarity metrics opens a wide range of
opportunity for our clients in areas measuring image Buzz, trademark similarity,
as well as a host of other applications. We work closely with our clients
to help them brainstorm new ideas to exploit available open source information.

Our clients’ websites exist in a vast universe of sites
on the Internet. They know to whom they are linked; but often are not
aware of links directed to their site, and from which sites they originate.
Competitors try to harvest vast amounts of business intelligence by implementing
invisible “stealth” sites targeted at our clients’ websites.
Even in the absence of malice, sites link to other sites in an almost
infinite number of patterns. Google employs some of this information to
determine site ranking. Yet, much information can be extracted by evaluating
who is linked to you, who else they are linked to, who is linked to them,
and so on - - - to as many degrees as is warranted. The intelligence community
has found this information to be highly useful, with many tools being
used today to fight terrorism as illustrated below.
We are working to tailor applications to meet the highly
unique needs of our client community to develop brand, issue, organizational,
and audience mapping in real-time.
