Karl Varner, LL.M., J.D., MBA, Partner and General Counsel
Mr. Varner has served as General Counsel and Director of Compliance of
Cornerstone Capital Management from June 18, 2005, where he is responsible
for oversight of Cornerstone's regulatory compliance and operations. Mr.
Varner was Special Counsel with the Securities and Exchange Commission
in Washington, D.C. from February 1995 until May 2005. Mr. Varner attended
Clark Atlanta University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics
in 1981; The University of Alabama at Birmingham where he received a Bachelor
of Science in Engineering in 1984; The Florida Institute of Technology
where he received a Masters of Business Administration in 1990; Loyola
University where he received a Juris Doctor in 1993; and Georgetown University
where he received Master of Laws in Securities Regulation in 1996.
